Your Imagination is a Superpower!

Image
I remember how wonderful my imagination was when I was a kid. It seemed like there was no limit to what my mind could think up. When I was in the first grade, I found an old dictionary, and my imagination turned it into a powerful book of spells so that I could be a wizard! And I often dreamed of what it would be like to live amongst the stars, flying from sun to sun in a spaceship, exploring the wonders of our universe. My imagination was like my own personal movie theater--except I got to participate in the movies! I feel sad when I see how our imagination can sometimes be suppressed as we become adults, as though it is a tool that is no longer useful. The truth is that our imagination is a superpower, especially the ability for us to visualize new possibilities with the power of our inner eye. The Importance of Building a Spiritual Foundation

Life can be challenging. We can't predict what might happen, and that uncertainty can be stressful. This is incredibly helpful during those moments when it's hard for me to find goodness in a bad situation.  Meditation  gives me the mental resilience I need when life gets tough by helping my mind to reorganize itself in a way where I am less reactive. It gives me a feel...

Why Take Classes at the Center?

Image
In addition to learning about the Science of Mind philosophy and how to apply it, being in a class is one of the best ways to enter more deeply into our spiritual community. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet and get to know people from many different backgrounds. Classes at the Center give you what you need to expand your knowledge of spiritual principles and to gain practical spiritual tools for everyday use. Our teachers are experienced practitioners of Science of Mind who love to teach and share the power that these teachings have to change lives. Classes combine experiential exercises with explanations of the principles of SOM practice. The home study portion of our classes are designed to inspire deeper understanding and love of spiritual principles and practical application. https://cslsr.org/education-calendar/ Much love, Rev.
