Dive Into the Teachings of Science of Mind

Some of you are fascinated by our teaching, have taken quite a few courses, and want to learn more. But perhaps becoming a Practitioner does not interest you. Advanced Consciousness Studies is for you!

Some of you are called to be Professional Prayer Practitioners, serving our community by aligning our consciousness with what’s true. Advanced Consciousness Studies (ACS) is for you!

Practitioner studies used to involve two courses. The first, Advanced Spiritual Living, was open to non-practitioner folks; however, it was designed as the first year of practitioner training. Much of it referenced being a practitioner. That’s changed.

This September, we launch a new 27-week journey into the heart of our teaching, the Science of Mind. Advanced Consciousness Studies invites you to explore three topics:

  • Your hidden beliefs and how they affect your experience of life.

  • The relevance of Science of Mind teachings in your day-to-day life.

  • What would truly embracing life look like for you?

And this course is more than that. It’s an opportunity to get to know people in our community, what matters to them, and their joys and challenges--all in a safe and accepting environment. You’ll share spiritual practices, something that may lead to creating your own daily practice or deepening what you already do. And, though the class itself will be on Zoom, we will get together in person now and then, just for the fun of it--no class content, no required attendance.

If this interests you, please reach out to me, this fall’s lead teacher, at tara@cslsr.org. You can also contact education@cslsr.org if you have questions. And you can find more detailed information about ACS on our website, https://cslsr.org/acs/.

Oh, by the way -- we offer comprehensive scholarships and work studies to take make taking ACS as easy as possible. You can check them out and apply here: CSLSR Scholarships.

Blessings,

Rev. Tara
