Thursdays, August 6 – September 3 • 6 to 8:30 pm
Across cultures and centuries, people have looked toward the stars, the Earth, the cycles of nature, and the wisdom within themselves in search of answers to life’s questions.
Who are we?
What is our relationship with Spirit?
What helps us create lives of meaning, balance, and connection?
Ancient Wisdom & Science of Mind invites us to explore these questions through the teachings of cultures and spiritual traditions that developed in very different parts of the world
Ancient African traditions remind us that all life comes from one sacred Source and that human beings flourish when we live in harmony with one another, the Earth, and Spirit.
Maya wisdom points toward the importance of relationship, balance, and the meaningful cycles of life.
Ancient Pagan and Celtic traditions invite us to recognize the sacred in nature, in the changing seasons, and in the rhythms of growth, loss, and renewal.
Inca teachings emphasize gratitude, reciprocity, and the understanding that we belong to a much larger living universe.
Hindu wisdom reminds us that the Divine is present within every person and every living thing.
These traditions emerged across different continents and different periods of history. They spoke different languages and expressed the sacred in different ways. Yet , they point toward a shared possibility: that we live in a sacred universe, that Spirit is present in all life, and that we ourselves are expressions of that same Divine Reality.
Ernest Holmes, our founder, brought many of these universal ideas into the language of Science of Mind. He taught that there is one Infinite Presence expressing through all creation and that each person is part of that living wholeness.
This class is an invitation to discover what these ancient teachings may offer us now.
You may find yourself asking:
What helps me feel connected to Spirit?
What does it mean to live in harmony with life?
Which values truly guide my choices?
How might I recognize the sacred in my everyday world?
What ancient teaching speaks most deeply to me at this point in my life?
The spiritual questions we carry have been explored by humans for thousands of years.
And perhaps, in listening to the wisdom of those who came before us, you may discover your own divine nature and deepen your relationship with Spirit
